The Diablos, meanwhile, missed the opportunity to solidify their playoff spot and now rely on the hope that none of the teams playing on Saturday or Sunday will surpass them, jeopardizing their 10th place in the overall standings.
For their part, Xolos went from being in the Play-In positions to being eliminated from contention and now have their sights set on the next tournament. They initially held an advantage in the match against Tuzos but let their guard down, allowing Pachuca to stage a comeback in the second half.
