After a 3-1 defeat to Germany, the USMNT will be looking to bounce back against Ghana on Tuesday. The Black Stars, like their American counterparts, are also aiming to pick up a positive result after losing to Mexico, but the quality of their squad is well known, with names including Inaki Williams, Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus and Jordan Ayew. Gregg Berhalter’s main doubt going into the game is forward Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic has managed to reinvent himself at AC Milan this season, where he has become a regular in the team. The former Chelsea man’s solitary goal against Germany put him in the USMNT’s all-time scoring charts. He is now fifth with 41 goals.

Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah look to have fully established themselves in the engine room. The young Milan player is starting to take off, both with the USMNT and on the European scene. The Rossoneri brought Musah in to replace Sandro Tonali, who joined Newcastle United.

USA’s possible XI against Ghana

Here is how Berhalter’s side could start against Ghana on Tuesday: Ethan Horvath; Sergino Dest, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Tim Ream, Kristoffer Lund; Weston McKennie, Yunus Musah, Brenden Aaronson; Tim Weah or Gio Reyna, Ricardo Pepi, Christian Pulisic or Folarin Balogun.
