How to watch Mexico games at the 2023 Gold Cup: stadiums, opponents, ticket prices

Despite suffering a humbling Nations League defeat in Las Vegas to the US, Mexico start the Gold Cup as second favourites to lift the trophy.

It’s fair to say that the Mexican national team are undergoing a period of turmoil currently and the sacking of new coach Diego Cocca something of a bombshell with the Argentine just four months in the position. Jaime (Jimmy) Lozano will lead El Tri in the short term as interim coach.

Mexico were humbled 3-0 by long-standing rivals USA in the semi-final of the Concacaf Nations League and a poor showing of El Tri fans at the Allegiant Stadium for the 3rd/4th place games was indicative of the feelings from Mexico fans towards the national team.

The good news for Mexico fans is that another tournament is right around the corner and the 2023 Gold Cup offers ‘El Tri’ a chance to put recent performances and lingering Qatar 2022 disappointments to one side.

The Mexican side are second favourites in the competition betting (behind the US) and are pitted in Group B along with Haiti, Honduras and special guests Qatar.
