Despite the recent wave of Messimania, the highest jersey seller in the US is not the Argentine striker but Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts with the Eagles reaching the final of the 2023 Super Bowl where they fell to Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs.

According to newspaper ‘The New York Times’, Hurts is the athlete who sells the most shirts via Fanatics, the leading online chain for sportswear sales in the United States.

Hurts looks for 2024 glory

Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in the NFL at the start of the new season to date after starting with a 5-1 record and are already a clear candidate to return to the Super Bowl in February 2024.

The Eagles selected Hurts in the second round of the 2020 Draft, however, it was not until week 14 that he took the controls as Philadelphia's starting quarterback, replacing Carson Wentz.
