Inter Miami confirm preseason friendly against Vissel Kobe in Japan

The MLS club will play Vissel Kobe in Japan in the new year.

Inter Miami will visit Japan as part of their preseason friendly tour that will take place between January and February. The club have announced that they will visit Tokyo, Japan, on February 7 for a friendly against Vissel Kobe. Spanish soccer Andrés Iniesta once plied his trade with the club and former Manchester United and Chelsea player Juan Mata is now their main player.

“Tokyo is an inspiring destination with a fervent fútbol community that we’re looking forward to getting acquainted with. We’re thrilled to visit Japan as one of our stops as we continue to bring joy to our global fanbase,” said Chief Business Officer Xavier Asensi. “Our aspiration remains to make our fans’ dreams come true, and we believe this match will be a fantastic occasion for them to look forward to, and a wonderful moment for our players.”

Inter Miami’s preseason schedule

Japan will be Inter Miami’s fourth stop in preseason. The team will travel to El Salvador to face La Selecta in El Cuscatlán on January 19. They will then travel to Saudi Arabia to take part in the Riyadh Season Cup where they will face Al-Hilal and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr. After Saudi Arabia, Tata Martino’s squad will travel to Hong Kong for another friendly.
