Inter Miami owner teases fans with cryptic tweets
Jorge Mas posted a mysterious message on his Twitter account featuring three pink Inter Miami shirts as speculation relating to three new acquisitions grows.
Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas has sparked waves of intrigue after a cryptic post on his Twitter account hints that three reinforcements will arrive at the DRV PNK Stadium “soon”. Argentine star Lionel Messi has confirmed that his future will be at the Major League Soccer club as of a 1 July and apparently the Rosario born player requested that the club bring in reinforcements to make a competitive team.
“No caption needed”, was the message posed by Mas along with an image showing three shirts without numbers and the text “coming soon”.
The message has sparked waves of speculation on the social network with fans wondering what other players are set to join Messi at the club.
New recruits
In the published image, it’s assumed that one shirt corresponds to the arrival of Messi, but a question mark surrounds the owners of the other two pink shirts with rumors rife that the Argentine is set to be joined in Miami by former Barcelona team-mates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
As things stand, the ‘Herons’ languish at the bottom of the of the Eastern Conference having only secured 15 points in the current season with 5 wins, zero draws and 12 losses.
