Erling Haaland was captured on video limping during a training session for the Norwegian National Team on Tuesday March 19.

The forward joined up with the side for the FIFA international break, with his club side Manchester City still in the fight for the Premier League title race. Now, alarms bells have been set off in England’s north-west with fans worried about the video that appears to show the player unable to participate the session with his teammates.

What injury does Haaland have?

The player could be seen limping and trying to continue the session, although struggling to do so. Haaland was replaced late on in Manchester City’s FA Cup win over Newcastle, with Julian Álvarez taking his place.

However, Pep Guardiola played down the worries in his post-match press conference: “He is not my player anymore from now on, what they will decide will be fine. They know that they fought a lot and train a lot, a lot of adrenaline and concentration to arrive in this position. They know they are friendly games and they have to handle it wisely. Hopefully they can do it.”

As of yet, the extent of Haaland’s injury - or indeed if he has suffered anything significant at all - is not known. Haaland has scored 18 goals and got 5 assists in 23 league games this season for the treble holders.
