Is Weston McKennie still dating Chiara Frattesi? What we know about the USMNT star’s girlfriend situation
The Juventus and USMNT midfielder’s personal life drew attention in Italy after a high-profile romance linked him to Inter Milan.
USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie made headlines with Juventus in 2024, not just for winning the Coppa Italia, but also during his team’s on-field victory celebrations, where he was joined by Italian model and influencer Chiara Frattesi.
Frattesi’s presence confirmed the duo’s rumored relationship and captured the attention of Italian soccer fans for one specific reason: the social media star is the sister of Davide Frattesi, who plays for Inter Milan, Juventus’ biggest rivals.
Why Weston McKennie and Chiara Frattesi attracted attention
After McKennie and Frattesi went Instagram official, the Italy midfielder joked he was forced to block his sibling online because of which team her new beau played for.
The Frattesis’ social media ghosting of one another, however, proved to be short-lived.
Just weeks after McKennie and Frattesi celebrated Juve’s cup victory together, reports emerged that the model had left the American behind and instead started dating Italian rapper Geolier.
The “new” couple made their own relationship official, in true modern fashion, by posting a photo together in September 2024. Things also moved incredibly quickly between Frattesi and Geolier, who reportedly started living together in Naples the following month, according to the Italian press.
Is Weston McKennie currently dating anyone?
As for McKennie, he was briefly linked with Russian model Violetta Bert, with the two spending time together at a French ski resort in 2025. However, Bert later denied dating McKennie, and that was that.
At the time of writing, there is no news of McKennie being in a relationship, although the midfielder is generally one to keep his private life out of the spotlight. Perhaps that might change with the spotlight set to shine even brighter on him and the USMNT at the 2026 World Cup?
