Bad news for Barcelona manager Hansi Flick, who will be without his star player for Sunday’s match against Valencia.

On top of the already confirmed absences of Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, and Alejandro Balde, Lamine Yamal will also miss out.

The winger is also extremely likely to be unavailable against Newcastle in the Champions League.

What injury does Lamine Yamal have? When will he return?

The winger did not train with his teammates on Saturday due to physical discomfort, and that issue has ruled him out of Sunday’s clash at the Johan Cruyff Stadium. The specific nature of the injury is not known at this time.

Given Yamal is unavailable, Flick could turn to young Swedish forward Roony Bardghji, who is still waiting to make his first-team debut. The German coach is said to have high hopes for the talented right-winger.

Another possible addition to the squad is Marc Bernal, who has been sidelined for more than a year with a serious cruciate ligament injury. The midfielder is reportedly close to being cleared to play and could even get his first minutes back against Valencia.
