“Lewy, we’re coming!” - Müller trolls Lewandowski ahead of Champions League clash
Thomas Müller took a video with his teammates ahead of the Bayern Munich vs Barcelona Champions League game trolling Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski.
Two of the biggest teams in the world face each other in the Champions League on Wednesday: FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich. It doesn’t matter that Bayern has already qualified for the next round or that Barca is basically out and Inter Milan could render the game completely irrelevant. People will tune in. First of all, because these are two of the world’s biggest teams and the rivalry has continued to grow. And second of all, to watch Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski play each other.
Bayern’s Thomas Müller left a little video for his former teammate, Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski on social media. As the team makes its way to Barcelona to try and beat them at their home in Camp Not this time, Müller tells him, “we’re coming”.
Barcelona needs a win if for no other reason than to keep some morale on the team after disappointing losses to Inter and Real Madrid. Bayern have the top spot in Group C, but will want the win if for no other reason than pride. Bayern will be without three of its key players - Manuel Neuer, Lucas Hernández, and Leroy Sane.
Kickoff for the Champions League Group C Stage between FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich is on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET (9 p.m. CEST) at Camp Nou in Barcelona. You can follow along with our live text coverage of the game right here on AS USA.
