Update:

In France, L’Équipe report that PSG forward Lionel Messi did not attend today’s training session.

It remains unknown why Messi did not join the rest of his team-mates but the Argentinian forward could now be set to miss the Ligue 1 match with Rennes on Sunday.

Defender Marquinhos is injured, having come off in the Champions League tie against Bayern. Right-back Achraf Hakimi has a thigh issue and the latest reports suggest that Sergio Ramos has also picked up a knock. It remains to be seen for how long Ramos will be out of action.

Christophe Galtier’s side are currently 10 points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table, ahead of rivals Marseille in second place.
