Liverpool agree deal with ‘Trent Alexander-Arnold replacement’
The Premier League champions are losing their first-choice right-back this summer but the youngster could step into his boots.

Liverpool have not yet completed their title-winning 2024/25 season but plans for next year are already well underway.
The club has acted swiftly in response to the confirmation that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be leaving Anfield this summer. They have reportedly began talks with Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong and have already confirmed another important deal.
Young right-back Conor Bradley has impressed since breaking through into the first team under Jurgen Klopp and has signed a new contract that keeps him at the club until June 2029. It’s a major commitment and suggests that he will be a key player going forward.
The Northern Irishman has suffered injuries early in his career and has been limited for playing time by the presence of Alexander-Arnold, one of the world’s best in his position. However he may be a more energetic and defensively robust alternative to the departing Englishman.
“To sign another contract, I’m very proud and happy to see what the next steps on our journey together will be,” Bradley said in the announcement. “You’ve just got to keep your head down and keep working hard.
“It has been a fantastic two years [with the senior team]. Especially since coming back from loan and doing so well last year and continuing that on this year. It’s been really good. So, hopefully we can keep going and keep making more memories.”
