Liverpool fans react to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s return to Anfield
The Real Madrid right-back returned to his former club in the final stages of the Champions League game.
Xabi Alonso turned to Trent Alexander-Arnold in the closing stages of Real Madrid’s frustrating game against Liverpool at Anfield, where the right-back was tasked with bringing his side back into the game in the Champions League.
After having been out with injury it was a huge ask for the Englishman, added to the fact that he had received a somewhat hostile reception from the section of fans still bitter over his departure in the summer.
