Although Hirving Lozano left Napoli for a move back to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2023, LA Galaxy continue to closely monitor the situation regarding the Mexican international and are still plotting to secure his services for the 2024 or 2025 MLS season.

Sources close to Diario AS confirmed the Galaxy's interest in filling one of their gaps as a designated player with the Mexican who currently plays in the Eredivisie.

LA Galaxy patient

As things stand, it appears that Lozano wants to stay in Europe with rumors that Los Angeles FC wanted to sign him last summer quickly quashed.

What is true is that LAFC did enquire about the situation relating to the Mexican player who was poised to leave Napoli, but never made him a concrete offer. The team that did present a project to him last summer was the Los Angeles Galaxy, according to a source from AS USA.

Hirving Lozano’s initial plan is to remain in Europe for a few more years with the Galaxy dealt a blow when Lozano arrived in Eindhoven, but the MLS club hope to play the long game and ensure that their club is the destination for the Mexico City native when the time comes to leave the European stage.
