Sky Germany report that City have submitted an offer of €90m plus bonuses to Leipzig, however, it may be short of their expected fee.

RB Leipzig identify replacement for Gvardiol
Gvardiol signed a contract extension with Leipzig in 2022 and it includes an exit clause of €110m, however, it doesn’t come into play until 2024.
If the 21-year-old is to leave the German side, he could be replaced by Lyon defender Castello Lukeba. Sky Germany add that the 20-year-old centre-back could demand a fee in the region of €30m and talks between the clubs are ongoing.
The France U-21 defender, who has represented his country since U-17 level, played 34 Ligue 1 games for Lyon in 2022-23.
