After winning his fifth French Super Cup with PSG, Kylian Mbappé spoke to the media in the mixed zone at Parc des Princes, where he was asked about his future. The French forward announced that “he has not made a decision” and that, in addition, he has reached an agreement with PSG president Nasser Al Khelaïfi in which neither party will be harmed if he finally ends up leaving the Parisian giants.

“I haven’t made a decision yet. But we have an agreement with the president that means all parties are protected. My future is not just a personal question. “You have to think about the team,” declared Mbappé, who mentioned the agreement he reached in the summer with Al Khelaïfi in which he gave up bonuses so as not to prejudice PSG financially in the event that he ends up leaving in the summer on a free transfer.

Afterwards, the captain of the French team assured that he will not extend his decision if he is clear about what he has to do in terms of future plans. “In 2022, I didn’t know my decision until May. If I know what I want to do, I shouldn’t let the decision drag out. It wouldn’t make any sense. Nobody talks about my situation at the club, nobody is interested,” he added.
