Argentine striker Lionel Messi created another career milestone on Sunday night as he bagged his 700th goal in club football.

Kylian Mbappe earlier opened the scoring as PSG travelled to the Stade Velodrome as the faced second placed side Olympique Marseille in the biggest game in French domestic soccer.

Messi was on target just four minutes later as he doubled PSG’s lead to stun the home crowd. His 700th strike comes in 840 games for FC Barcelona and the Parisian giants.

The striker from Rosario found the net 672 times in his spell with FC Barcelona and since moving to 28 Paris Saint Germain, the Argentine has bagged 28 goals for the French side.
