Mexico soccer legends: Who are the best players in the history of the Mexican national team?
The Mexican team will start their World Cup run against Poland with a very questionable team.
The 26-man roster for the Mexican National Team’s 2022 World Cup appearance in Qatar was revealed on Monday, and it included the return of Chivas players to a World Cup. - Jorge Campos: He is by far the best Mexican goalkeeper in history, and this was primarily due to his spectacular performances with El Tri, which amazed the entire world.
- Alberto García Aspe: He probably had the most powerful left foot in El Tri’s history. Beto’s strong personality made him the leader and sometimes captain of the National Team, with which he played in the World Cups in the United States 94, France 98, and Korea-Japan 2002.

- Chicharito Hernández: The top scorer in the history of El Tri. He debuted in 2009; since then, he has become essential in all the tournaments. This year he will not be with the team due to personal issues with the coach.
- Andrés Guardado: The team’s captain for Qatar and an institution for El Tri. At 33 years old, he is still one of the best players on the team and is in form with his team, Betis.
Maybe this year, the team will rich the sought out “fifth” game in the World Cup. Creating new legends, players like Raúl Jíménez or Erik Torres. The team will play Poland first, and a great deal of expectation surrounds the team.
