Mexico and Honduras face off in the second leg of their CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final, with a place at March’s tournament finals up for grabs.

The winners of the last-eight clash will also seal qualification for the 2024 Copa América. The losers, meanwhile, will go into a playoff for one of CONCACAF’s final two spots at the event, which is to be hosted by the United States.

Before playing the return leg in Mexico City, the Mexicans and the Hondurans meet in their quarter-final opener in Tegucigalpa on Friday. Here’s what you need to know about that one.
