Mick Jagger attended today’s El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid in Barcelona.

The Rolling Stones star was spotted alongside fellow Stones legend Ronnie Wood ahead of today’s LaLiga fixture in Catalonia.

Jagger and Wood were seen singing and clapping along to their very own “Start Me Up” before the game between Spain’s two biggest clubs got underway.

The British band played in front of a packed house at Atlético Madrid’s Cívitas Metropolitano stadium in the summer of 2022, with several Spanish soccer stars in attendance, including former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.

Real Madrid beat Barcelona in El Clásico

Barcelona took the lead in El Clásico on Saturday thanks to a first-half goal from midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, who was playing in his first ever Clásico.

But then it was time for Jude Bellingham, who grabbed a second-half double to give Madridistas bragging rights with a 2-1 away win.

Here’s what the Catalan club had to say about the launch:

“The Rolling Stones logo swap is the latest activation in the partnership between Spotify and FC Barcelona which brings the worlds of Music and Football together. This activation is an example of how the partnership with Barça is bigger than just branding. We’re giving platforms to artists and their work in a way that’s not been done before.

“Whether through Matchday Songs curated by Barça players or through Spotify Camp Nou LEDs, Spotify is using the partnership to truly bring the worlds of music and sports together.”
