LAFC’s Carlos Vela tops best selling player jerseys list for 2023 MLS season

MLS have confirmed the listing of the best selling player jerseys for the new 2023 season with LAFC striker Carlos Vela topping the listi as the Mexican player celebrates his sixth campaign with the ‘Black and Gold’.

Berlin born Hany Mukhtar is in second place in the listing with the former Hertha BSC and Brondy a fan favourite since moving to Nashville in 2020. The highly popular ‘Man in Black’ Johnny Cash tribute shirt being used by the Tennessee side will have played an additional role in Mukhtar’s success this season.

Another Nashville SC player makes third place in the best selling ranking as USMNT defender Walker Zimmerman completes the podium with the top ten being completed by LA Galaxy’s Chicharito, US and Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris is fifth one place ahead of Inter Miami’s Josef Martinez.

Atlanta United central player Thiago Almada bags seventh spot, Philadelphia Union’s Hungarian striker Gazdag makes eighth place ahead of the only goalkeeper in the top places as Union’s Andrew Blake is ninth.

Former FC Barcelona man Riqui Puig (LA Galaxy) closes the top ten.
