Monterrey are joint top of Liga MX, together with América and Tigres, who are both on 10 points after four matchdays. These teams have not lost a single match so far this season, with Necaxa the surprise package as they also remain undefeated.

Monterrey

The team coached by Tano Ortiz have had the the most solid start to the 2024 campaign, picking up three wins, and a draw. They have also scored eight goals and have conceded just two, with Brandon Vazquez as their top marksman with three goals. The Mexican has scored a goal every 59 minutes. Up next for Rayados is América at the Azteca Stadium.

América

André Jardine’s team have had an almost impeccable start, with three wins and a draw against Necaxa. Las Águilas have six goals scored, and Salvador Reyes is their top scorer with two goals. The most interesting fact of the league season is that América are the only team that have not yet conceded a goal.

Tigres

Robert Dante Siboldi’s team have three wins and a draw and they are shaping up nicely, with six goals scored and three conceded. Three of their goals have been scored by Sebastián Córdova and their next match will be a tough test against Pumas.

Necaxa

At the time of writing, the team managed by Eduardo Fentanes can be considered the dark horse in 2024. They have collected two wins and two draws to date, including draws against América and Pumas. They have also netted six times and conceded four. Their next match is against Bravos.
