New LaLiga logo leaked for the 2023/24 season

The Footy Headlines website, mainly known for its football shirt leaks, has brought to light what will be the new corporate image of LaLiga for next season.

With just over a month to go before the conclusion of the LaLiga Santander and LaLiga Smartbank 2022/23 seasons, the first details of the 2023/24 season are being revealed. And it appears that the organisation led by Javier Tebas will see substantial changes for the next campaign. That is, at least, as far as the image of the league is concerned.

LaLiga logo goes LL loco

Santander, the bank that has held the naming rights of the First and Second Division for the last six seasons, will not be present in the next campaign, with its place will be taken by American company EA Games. Thus, the league championship will be known as LaLiga EA Sports FC, in reference to EA Sports FC, the new rebranding of the classic ‘FIFA’ video game saga.

But it won’t be just the name that will change, but its image will also change. According to the Footy Headlines site, famous for its high degree of success in revealing kits, logos and other football information, the logo of LaLiga will look very different to how it has done for many seasons.

The classic logo of the ball surrounded by seven multicoloured bars will disappear, which is the most striking difference. The design is simplified, turning to a monochrome look with pale red as the main colour and a double ‘L’ design in reference to LaLiga.
