The end of the current 2023-24 season is fast approaching with two games left for Real Madrid as they take on Real Betis next weekend at home in matchday 38 of the LaLiga campaign. Carlo Ancelotti’s men then turn their thoughts to Wembley Stadium, the venue for the final of the UEFA Champions League where Los Blancos will face Borussia Dortmund on 1 June.

As the curtain is set to come down on the season, thoughts start to turn to the next campaign and the 2024-25 season could see Madrid possibly competing in seven competitions: League, Champions League, Spanish Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, European Super Cup, the reformatted Intercontinental Cup and also the new expanded 32-team Club World Cup, which will be held in the US in the summer of 2025.

The new season jerseys (once again manufactured by Adidas), have been leaked online with the German sportswear giant offering three principal colours for the home, away and third kit that the Santiago Bernabeu will wear next season.

The home jersey is the iconic white with a V-neck collar and the three characteristic Adidas stripes in a dark navy.

The second jersey is a vivid orange and is a throwback to the 2013-14 season. The new jersey features the club logo and sleeve piping in black.

The third and last one is a charcoal grey and features a RMCF pattern throughout and boasts the Adidas trefoil logo. The jersey is complimented with a distinguished polo style collar, a feature that was criticized by German midfielder Toni Kroos who hit out at the design of the 22-23 home shirt famously saying: “a polo shirt is not a football jersey”.

The definitive release dates for all three shirts has yet to be confirmed by either Adidas or the LaLiga club.
