“Payaso!” Giorgio Chiellini calls Riqui Puig a clown during interview
LA Galaxy’s Riqui Puig took off his shirt in a Leo Messi-esque celebration during the US Open Cup and LAFC’s Giorgio Chiellini straight up called him a clown.

LA Galaxy defeated rivals LAFC 2-0 in the US Open Cup “El Tráfico” on Tuesday with goals by Tyler Boyd and Riqui Puig. Puig’s goal caught particular attention due to his celebration after the fact, reminiscent of that of the famous Lionel Messi’s.
In the celebration, Puig took off his shirt and showed his name to the fans.
Then after the game while Puigi was being interviewed, LAFC’s Giorgio Chiellini shouted “payaso” at him, which means “clown” in Spanish. Clearly, he was not amused by the celebration.
