Pep’s awkward selfie with journalist
The Manchester City boss was just settling in for his press conference ahead of the Champions League match when a journalist awkwardly requested a selfie.
Pep Guardiola was preparing to speak at a press conference in Copenhagen, Denmark ahead of Manchester City’s Champions League game against FC Copenhagen when something odd happened.
Before any questions could be asked, a journalist wearing a face mask approached Guardiola’s table with his phone, asking him to take a selfie with him. Clearly, the journalist surprised and confused Guardiola, as he said, “sorry?” before agreeing. What made it even more awkward was the fact that the journalist was struggling to get the phone working and Guardiola just sat and waited.
I imagine the final result of this selfie is quite amusing and I do hope it somehow gets leaked on the internet soon so we can all enjoy it.
