Possible lineups for Tigres vs Chivas in Liga MX Clausura 2023
There are plenty of doubts as to who will play when Tigres face Chivas in the final of the Liga MX.
The hours are counting down to the first round of the grand final between Tigres and Chivas, two teams with squads that are ready and firing to walk out onto the pitch with the best XIs available.
Tigres will want to show a more dangerous side to their play than against Rayados in the semi-finals, which is why Robert Dante Siboldi will surely go to war with his ‘gala XI’ against the Rebaño Sagrado at the Estadio Universitario.

Tigres injury update
The surprise will come in the form of Samir Caetano, and whether he will start or not. The player feels 100% physically fit after his injury, but it is not known whether or not the manager will choose to keep him on the bench and use him as an impact player at a later stage of the game.
The Uruguayan manager will most likely go with the same players he used last Saturday, with Luis Quiñones the big difference from the first whistle.
Chivas starting XI doubts
As for Veljko Paunovic on the opposite bench, this starting strategy will be key if he is to stop one of Mexico’s most attacking and dangerous sides, just as he did earlier in the campaign.
In order to maximise his chances of stopping Los Felinos, he will have to resolve the doubts surrounding Isaác Brizuela or Ronaldo Cisneros from the start, although all things point to the “Conejo” making the XI.
Potential Tigres XI:
Nahuel Guzmán
Javier Aquino - Guido Pizarro - Diego Reyes - Jesús Angulo
Rafael Carioca - Juan Pablo Vigón - Sebastián Córdova
Luis Quiñones - Fernando Gorriarán - André Pierre-Gignac
Potential Chivas XI:
Miguel Jiménez
Jesús Orozco - Gilberto Sepúlveda - Antonio Briseño - Alan Mozo
Fernando González - Fernando Beltrán - Roberto Alvarado
Alexis Vega - Víctor Guzmán - Isaác Brizuela (or Ronaldo Cisneros)
