PSG forward Kylian Mbappé in Madrid

Kylian Mbappé was spotted this lunchtime outside a restaurant in Madrid with former Real Madrid right-back Achraf Hakimi.

Real Madrid’s number one target Kylian Mbappé is in Madrid. The PSG player, who is still tied up in talks over his future, had lunch this afternoon at a famous restaurant in the Spanish capital, according to Cadena COPE.

Mbappé entered the restaurant alongside his PSG team-mate Hakimi, his brother and two other people, at around 3.35 pm local time. The group had a reservation for lunch at 2.00 pm.

PSG president also in Madrid

Mbappé's visit to Madrid coincides with PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi’s trip to Madrid. Khelaifi was in the city to attend an European Club Association (ECA) event being held at Atlético Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

Madrid confident of landing Mbappé

After their failed attempts to lure Mbappé to Spain last summer, Real Madrid remain confident of landing him this summer, and the club are set for more talks with his representatives over the coming days.

The 23-year-old is currently the top scorer in Ligue 1 with 24 goals in 33 appearances.
