PSG player Achraf Hakimi under investigation for alleged rape
According to Le Parisien, a woman went to a police station stating that the PSG player had raped her. An investigation has been opened.
PSG player Achraf Hakimi is being investigated for alleged rape. The incident allegedly took place over the weekend, when the right-back was alone at home and invited a young woman to his house, as reported by French news outlet Le Parisien. According to the woman, once at home, the Moroccan kissed her, removed her clothes and penetration took place despite her refusal.
Since 16 January, the PSG right-back has reportedly been in contact with the woman, whom he had invited to his home when his wife and two children were on holiday in Dubai and he also reportedly paid for her Uber drive to his home. She went to the player’s place in Boulogne-Billancourt and, after managing to escape from her alleged attacker, called a friend to pick her up by car.
The women has since gone to a police station claiming that Hakimi has allegedly raped her. Although she did not initially want to file a complaint, the police, given the seriousness of the facts, decided to act on their own initiative and have opened an investigation. The Morocco international didn’t play for PSG against Marseille on Sunday due to injury.
