With the Ligue 1 season ongoing and the probability of securing the title growing, Paris Saint-Germain’s current focus is already on the upcoming month of June. The team from Paris has not yet made a decision regarding the renewals of Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos, and Luis Campos, who has faced criticism since his arrival, has already begun designing the team for next season. One of Campos’ targets is Victor Osimhen, who has become PSG’s priority to strengthen their attacking line, according to RMC Sport. The club will certainly have competition but maybe they have an advantage.

Who will Osimhen sign for?

The 24-year-old forward is currently one of the best in Europe. It was PSG’s sports advisor, Luis Campos, who signed him for Lille in the 2018/19 season, paying €24 million (c.$25m) for the player who was transferred a year later for three times that price to Napoli. As a key part of the team, the Italian club is hoping to receive at least 100 million for Osimhen, who is said to be open to a move to Paris after Campos recently met with his representatives.

Osimhen’s arrival at PSG would be a significant addition to the team. This season, the Nigerian has scored 25 goals and provided five assists in 29 games, establishing himself as one of the leaders of a Napoli team that is currently sitting atop Serie A and is in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Reports point to the current king in Paris, Kylian Mbappé, benefitting from Osimhen’s arrival, as he requested the signing of a renowned striker to allow him more freedom, and Osimhen meets all the necessary requirements. How long the Frenchman stays in his own capital, however, remains a hot topic.
