As the winter transfer window closes, several players were offered to Manchester United as the team managed by Eric ten Hag looks to secure a top four finish in the second half of the Premier League season. Weston McKennie and Christian Pulisic were amongst the players offered to the Red Devils.

According to ESPN, other players included in this list besides the American duo were Memphis Depay, who joined Atlético Madrid, and Marcel Sabitzer, who signed a loan deal until the end of the season with the Red Devils from Bayern Munich. The Austrian midfielder was a priority signing for Ten Hag because of the lengthy injury that Christian Eriksen suffered over the weekend.

McKennie happy at Elland Road

The 24-year-old completed a loan move from Juventus to Leeds United towards the end of the January transfer window and he is happy for the new opportunity to play in the English top flight. Weston McKennie said it “was a dream come true” to play at Elland Road alongside his USMNT teammates Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams.

Christian Pulisic not happy at Chelsea

The story of ‘Captain America’ is different because he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge in search of more minutes. Unfortunately for him, no team wanted to sign him during the winter transfer window because he is recovering from a knee injury he suffered earlier this month and he will be sidelined for at least two months.
