From Rafael to Raúl. After the departure of Rafael Puente del Río, Pumas have announced that Raúl Alpízar is to take over as interim manager of the side until a permanent decision is made as to who will lead the team in their new era.

The official confirmation of the appointment came on the social media channels of Pumas, which said that Alpízar would take charge of the men’s team “for now, until a replacement coach can be found”. The club will likely use the upcoming international break as a window in which they can interview candidates in order to find the most suitable coach for the job.
