Real Madrid confident of landing France international Aurélien Tchouaméni

Real Madrid want to sign France international Aurélien Tchouaméni. The Monaco midfielder has become a top target for Los Blancos for next season.

AS understands negotiations between Real Madrid and Monaco are well underway and there has been progress in recent weeks. There are still differences over the transfer fee that will have to be ironed out between both parties.

Juni Calafat, Madrid’s chief scout, has been keeping a close eye on the French international’s progress. The young midfielder’s performances at Monaco has attracted the likes of Chelsea.

Monaco raise asking price

In September, Monaco valued the player at €60 million. His performances in Ligue 1, coupled with the interest of top European clubs, have led to Monaco raising their asking price for the former Bordeaux player.

Madrid remain confident of securing the signing the France international and hugely talented midfielder. The progress made in recent weeks in the negotiations puts the La Liga side in a strong position. Both parties will remain in talks with the idea of finalising a deal over the coming weeks.
