Real Madrid forward Juanmi Latasa joins Getafe
The Real Madrid Castilla striker arrives on loan with a purchase option. It is the ninth signing of the azulones and completes the position of center forward.
Juanmi Latasa has joined Getafe from Real Madrid. The young striker joins the La Liga outfit on loan with a purchase option included in the deal. Real Madrid would keep the right of first refusal and a percentage of a possible future sale if he ends up joining Quique Sánchez Flores’ side. Latasa is 21 and has exploded over the last three years in Madrid’s academy before making his debut last season with the first team against Cádiz.
At the beginning of the summer, Getafe president Ángel Torres held a meeting in Valdebebas in which Mariano and Borja Mayoral were discussed. Then the option of Latasa appeared on the table, as the striker expressed his desire to leave Castilla to play in the top flight. He is a powerful striker, left-footed and technically strong.
Getafe still intend to sign a left-back before the end of the window. They will play without one on Sunday due to Angileri’s absence due to suspension.
