Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos and Luna Serrat expecting twins

Dani Ceballos and Luna Serrat are about to become a family of four. The Real Madrid midfielder and the granddaughter of iconic Spanish singer Joan Manuel Serrat revealed on social media that they are expecting twins.

The couple shared the news through a carousel of photos, some in color and others in black and white, including an image of an ultrasound. Both the photo and the caption made clear that the announcement was bigger than expected: they are not preparing for one baby, but two.

“We dreamed about it so much that it came double,” they wrote, adding two chick-hatching emojis and a simple equation that sums up their growing family: “1+1=4.” The two babies will join their parents to make a family of four.

The comments section quickly filled with congratulations. Teammates such as Fran García, Vinícius Júnior and Thibaut Courtois were among those responding, along with former Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos. Other players from across European soccer, including Pedro Porro, Sergio León and Kepa Arrizabalaga, also congratulated the couple.

We’ll always have Rome

Their relationship first became public in mid-2024. On August 7 that year, Serrat posted a birthday message to Ceballos that also revealed they were together.

“One year with you has made up for the 27 I spent without you,” she wrote. “Happy birthday, my love. You make me feel like the luckiest person in the world.”

The message was accompanied by another carousel of photos — this time taken in Rome.

Since then, the two have been inseparable. Serrat, whose first name comes from one of her grandfather’s songs, has become a regular presence at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, where Real Madrid play their home games.

Already known in Spain as an actress and content creator, she is often seen at matches with family members and friends in the stands. Soon, there will be two more joining them.
