Real Madrid sets revenue record with $1.4 billion last season
The club becomes the first organization in the sports industry to generate more than $1.4 billion in annual revenue and posts a profit for the 26th straight year.

Real Madrid generated a record $1.4 billion in revenue during the 2025-26 season, excluding player transfers, according to figures presented at the club’s board meeting on Tuesday.
The club said the results underscore its financial strength and reinforce its position as a global leader in the sports industry.
Revenue increased by 3.1% compared to the previous year, making Real Madrid the first sports organization ever to surpass $1.4 billion in annual revenue.
The growth was driven primarily by the club’s own business operations. Stadium revenue rose by 11%, while marketing income increased by 6%, fueled by renewed agreements with major sponsors and the addition of new commercial partners.

What was Real Madrid’s profit?
Real Madrid said its revenue has grown by 61% over the past seven years, during which time income generated by the stadium has doubled.
As a result, the club posted $331 million in operating profit before depreciation and amortization, an increase of 18% from the previous fiscal year. Net profit after taxes reached $30 million, marking the club’s 26th consecutive year of posting a surplus.
How much did the renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium cost?
The board was also informed that the Santiago Bernabéu renovation has now cost $1.6 billion, while spending on player salaries has increased by $191 million over the past seven years, a rise of 37%. During the last season alone, Real Madrid spent $186 million on new signings.
The club reported shareholders’ equity of $720 million, cash reserves of $96 million, and net debt of just $10 million, excluding debt related to the stadium redevelopment. It also has $548 million in unused credit facilities available.
The figures reflect Real Madrid’s financial and sporting strategy, allowing the club to remain aggressive in the transfer market while staying within the spending limits it has imposed on itself. That approach has already produced four signings this summer, with Yan Diomande expected to become the next addition.
