Ronaldo: “Ancelotti could coach Brazil”
Ronaldo was full of praise for the Real Madrid coach and acknowledges his desire to see him lead the Brazil team.
Ronaldo Nazario spoke to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport and the Brazil legend made it clear that he would like to see a European coach managing Brazil. “I think a European coach could coach the Brazilian national team, someone like Pep or Ancelotti, they could do something incredible with the Brazilian national team. He [Ancelotti] could change the history of our football for the next hundred years,” said Ronaldo.
The former Madrid striker was full of praise for Ancelotti. “For me, Carlo is by far the best person who has ever existed in the world of football. He is everyone’s friend, not just mine. Everyone loves him, and as a coach, he is incredible, for quality, vision, and ability to understand players. He deserves everything he has won for his professionalism and character”.
Tough decisions for Tite at World Cup
The Real Valladolid president also discussed the Brazilian national team ahead of the World Cup in Qatar. “Let’s see what Tite chooses. Vinícius should be a starter, because he would be in any team in the world. On the right, Raphinha is doing very well but there is Rodrygo who, like Vinicius, would be a starter in any national team. And then Neymar, who if he is as good as he is now is very strong. And again Gabriel Jesus, who played very well again with Arsenal, and Richarlison who guarantees goals, and Antony. We’ll see, Tite will have problems, it will be difficult to choose. And let’s see if he starts more conservatively with Paqueta, Fred and Casemiro. I honestly don’t know,” Ronaldo continued.
