Santi Giménez may have first big offer... from Serie A
Given the Mexican’s goalscoring exploits in his first season, a big offer is being proposed for the Feyenoord player in the summer.
There is no doubt that one of the best Mexicans in Europe right now is Santiago Giménez, who has equaled the goalscoring record of Luis García and Javier Hernández in his first season, which has sparked interest in various clubs, both large and small, rom the Old Continent. And it seems that, in the last few hours, several big name clubs have joined the race to sign the young Mexican.
Where will Giménez go next?
According to TUDN, Italian side Lazio are interested in the Feyenoord striker, who has scored goals in the Europa League, Eredivisie and the Netherlands Cup, so the Serie A team is preparing an offer of $20 million for the Mexican youngster. But that may not be enough if a bidding war starts ahead of the summer transfer window.
We’ve learned that the player’s father, Christian Giménez, is soon to travel to Europe to hold meetings with the teams interested in his son, including Atlético Madrid and Inter Milan.

In his debut season, Giménez has scored a total of 25 goals and provided three assists across all competitions, however, and it’s worth remembering that he left for Europe as the leading scorer in Mexico with Cruz Azul.
Now, El Chacho, who is also his representative, will meet with Dennis Te Kloese, CEO of Feyenoord, to analyze all the offers they have up to now and choose the one that best suits both parties.
