Flick’s achievement places him in the club’s history books as the second-fastest coach to reach 100 goals, behind only Helenio Herrera, who managed it in 31 matches back in 1959 – only one fewer than Flick.

After the match, Flick praised his team’s relentless hunger for goals, emphasizing their determination to score until the final whistle. He also expressed satisfaction with the depth and competitiveness of his squad, noting how it allowed him to give opportunities to players who don’t often feature prominently.
