The Soccer Champions Tour is coming to an end with the clash between Real Madrid against Juventus on Saturday night. The organizers have confirmed that the game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena will be played in a sold-out crowd and fans are encouraged to arrive early.
Around 90,000 fans will attend the historic stadium to witness the team’s last preparations match before the start of their respective seasons. This will be a key match for Real Madrid because their next game will be against Eintracht Frankfurt for the UEFA Super Cup in their first official match of the campaign.
Real Madrid have not yet to win a pre-season game
The La Liga giants have not won a game in their United States pre-season tour and it is expected that the players that start against Juventus will play on 10 August in the Super Cup final. Real Madrid lost 1-0 in their first friendly against FC Barcelona at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada and then tied 2-2 against Liga MX side Club América at Oracle Park.
This will be the last opportunity for Carlo Ancelotti to define the starting XI that will most likely play next week against the Bundesliga side. On the Other hand, Juventus is in a transition period and their biggest signing this summer, Ángel Di María, has been adapting well to the team and becoming a key player for manager Massimiliano Allegri.
