How do I write a full-time summary about that?
South Korea looked fenced in by Portugal for a lot of that game, but they were really just waiting like sleeping lions to pounce on Pepe and Silva at the back, which they managed to do after a fantastic pass from Son and the coolest of finishes from Hwang, whose goal ultimately proved to be decisive and made Luis Suárez cry.
Did the better team win? Did Portugal play bad enough to lose? Do we even need to answer these questions?
Portugal did what they do and looked just about fine with proceedings, disappointing you to the point of madness before making you think that you want to find a Portuguese grandparent so you can support their brilliance for the rest of your life.
Overall, nothing matter and everything matters, which is right about where my head is at with this game, this group and this World Cup as a whole: it has been utter madness and I just hope it continues to give us amazing moments like we have seen!

That was a very dangerous moment, well defended by the Portuguese centre-back.
Another mistake from goalkeeper Kim. He panicked and kicked the ball straight out of Korea's left side. Nowhere near the full-back.
Horta is down but looks fit to continue after some magic water is poured on his ankle from the team doctor.

He missed the ball!
It was a great run after a cross from the left to the near post but the veteran swings a leg at it without making any contact. Laughter fills the stadium.
Nunes tries to clip a reverse pass from the centre of the pitch towards Ronaldo in the left channel but the ball hits Kim (centre-back) who tumbles to the ground like a Jenga tower.
A mistake from goalkeeper Kim in build up as he plays the ball straight to João Mário. Korea drop back well to block out any immediate danger, but Portugal start to knock the ball from left to right, looking for an opening.

Ronaldo is caught offside by the Korean defence. Dalot had played him in behind with a long ball.
Cancelo finds space down the left but hits his cross into the upper atmosphere.

A bit of a tough game to analyse, as both teams have been just about fine without being either terribly bad or terrifyingly good. Portugal have looked average - which is understandable given they're through - but have had some nice moments from Nunes, Vitinha and Dalot.
Korea have looked average because, well, they're average. The goal will give them hope, but they need to be a bit more daring and trust that they can take care of the Portugal attack standing a bit further away from their own goal.
We haven't seen many upsets from deep-lying low-block teams during this World Cup, they've all come from the weaker sides who have gone out to attack the big boys.
Maybe South Korea could try some of that. And one more goal will see Uruguay out!
Vitinha plays a fantastic ball over Korea's defensive line but Nunes can't find the touch...
Oooooo, a good cross from Hwang from the left side almost hits the head of one, two three Korean attackers - but it misses them all by an inch.

Chance! Horta receives inside the box from the right and spins well. His shot is weak however, and Kim (goalkeeper) has no trouble in collecting.
RONALDO MISSES A SITTER!
A shot from the edge of pox is parried into his path but his diving header goes wide... I have no idea how!
Some people are trying to get a Mexican wave going in the stadium, but lots more are stopping it. I thank them.
SON GOES CLOSE!
He gets the ball from distance in the middle channel, takes a touch to lift the ball onto his left side before hitting a shot straight at Costa in the Portugal goal.
Korea need two goals right now to go through...
Ronaldo takes the most acrobatic run up I think I've ever seen for a shot that is immediately blocked by Kim (centre-back) on the right side of the box.
Yellow for Kang In Lee after he brings down Nunes.
Nunes hits a volley from a corner - but he forgets he's not Paul Scholes - and it bounces tamely towards Kim in goal.
Dalot with a shot from range. Kim gets down well to push it wide.
Korea are happy to sit off Portugal and pounce when they can isolate the defenders against Cho and Son. For now, it's all Portugal with the ball comfortably in their own half.

and the rebound is swung in by Nunes: Ronaldo was inches away from finding a touch but Kim (centre-back) does well to clear.
Here, meanwhile, Korea are slowly creeping forward like cheeky puppies. They're getting themselves into this game little by little...

Son almost gets on the end of a good pass from left-back, Kim. A good chance but it was too heavy.
Korea with some calm possession now; let's see if they can make their mark on this game after the positive spell they just had.

Son with the touch of a Korean angel after a long ball from the right crosses the whole width of the pitch and lands beautifully on his toes. His shot is subsequently blocked by Dalot.
CHANCE FOR PORTUGAL!
Cancelo twists and turns Kim's body, mind and soul before whacking a low shot at the goalkeeper from the left of the box.
Pepe is not being put under any pressure from South Korea and has been able to play long passes into both the left and right channels on multiple occasions.
Korea are sitting off him and the centre-back is causing a lot of problems with his distribution.
Ghana vs Uruguay is currently 0-0...
Portugal comfortably pressing South Korea all the way back to goalkeeper, Kim.
You get the feeling that the quality and calmness is just not there for the Asian side.

Pepe hits a long ball to Dalot on the right side. The defender runs 30 metres down the wing and plays a simple cut-back to Horta who smacks the ball into the net. Easy from Portugal.
Right back Kim almost gets away down the wing as a header from Cho flies behind the defensive line. It was too fast for him to collect and the ball runs out of play.
Ronaldo gets his first touch and is greeted by a chorus of boos from the crowd. He'll have Piers Morgan on the phone at half-time if this continues.
Some nervy possession at the back for Portugal, who are being chased everywhere by the Asian side.
An early attack from South Korea, who work the ball forward well through the middle. Good work from Cho to win the ball.
A nice spin from Cho in the centre of the pitch, but he is brought down by Silva.

It's the Paulo Bento derby, today, as he takes on his home nation. Bento took charge of South Korea in 2018 and he is currently guiding them through their 11th World Cup appearance.
The last time - and only time - that South Korea have faced Portugal was in the 2002 World Cup, where the Asian side won 1-0, thanks to a goal from... yes! Park Ji-sung!
That year they came 4th, and it remains their best ever finish at a World Cup, beating Italy and Spain before losing to Germany. Not bad at all.

OK, word on the ground seems to be that Cancelo may start at left-back, as Guerreiro suffered a niggling injury in training; Cristiano is expected to start from the bench after missing training on Wednesday. Gonçalo Ramos should replace him up front.

So, to South Korea vs Portugal
Two of my favourite flags.
Portugal are already through, and only need a point to secure top spot, something they might want to do, as the canary yellow of Brazil lurks in the corner for the team who dares to finish second.
South Korea , after a 0-0 against Uruguay and a 3-2 loss to Ghana , sit on just a single point. They need Uruguay to beat the Africans and then hope goal difference plays in their favour if that want to progress, which I think they do.
An attempt at a World Cup summary so far...
So far we've had pretty much the most mental end to a group phase that I can remember, although my head is so frazzled from it all that that's probably not quite the achievement.
Groups A and B breezed by without a fuss, England (no flag) and the USA went through, as did Netherlands and Senegal . It all seemed like we were laid on a calm beach, with not a cloud in the sky.
Then came the crazy.
Saudi Arabia played Mexico , and Poland faced Argentina in what turned out to be millions of people screaming for Polish yellow cards so we could have the unimaginable excitement of 'drawing lots', something so simple but at the same time, incredibly fun and mysterious.
And then it just got a whole lot more... everything.
Germany looked to be swiping Costa Rica aside like a lion brushes off a daring mouse from his mane, but the Central American side bit back, scoring in unbelievable fashion - at the same time Japan went ahead against Spain! In the end, the Germans won but did not go through, thanks to Asian heroics, but my, oh my, what football we saw.
