When does the summer transfer window open in the Premier League?
Premier League clubs will officially be able to register new players from Friday 10 June.
The summer transfer window closes for Premier League sides on Thursday 1 September.
When does the summer transfer window open in Europe?
The summer window opens in France, Italy, Germany and Spain on 1 July.
The window in France and Italy closes on 31 August. Clubs in Germany and Spain will have an extra 24 hours to get their last-minute deals over the line before the final window of 2022 shuts on 1 September.
When does the 2022/23 Premier League season begin?
The 2022/23 Premier League season will begin on the weekend of 6/7 August, one week earlier than last season.
Due to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar this winter, the Premier League will take a break in the middle of the season.
Matchday 16 fixtures have been scheduled for the weekend of 12/13 November. This set of fixtures will be the final round of matches before the World Cup commences on 21 November 2022.
The World Cup final will take place on 18 December, with the Premier League returning to action just over a week later on 26 December.
