Tecatito open to offers
The Mexican’s representative affirms that the player’s intention is to continue at Sevilla but that he is open to any type of proposal.
Jesus ‘Tecatito’ Corona is looking to put the 2022-23 season behind him. A serious ankle injury just as the campaign kicked off together with a subsequent relapse, saw the Mexican player miss the bulk of the season along with the opportunity to play in the 2022 World Cup.
At 30 years old and with a contract with Sevilla that runs through to 2025, Corona’s intention is to prove his worth to the Nervión fanbase, but without closing the door to any other option. His representative acknowledged that the player is not contemplating a departure from the Sanchez Pizjuan stating: “right now he is not thinking about leaving Sevilla FC, but if an interesting offer comes, we will surely analyze it”, said Matías Bunge, the player’s agent, in Italy.
“Unfortunately, he had a very serious injury and due to a bad first operation and recovery times have taken longer than we expected,” added Bunge regarding Tecatito’s pending debts with Sevilla.
