Tigres striker André-Pierre Gignac has been ruled out with a muscle injury suffered in Tuesday’s 0-0 Liga MX draw with Juárez.

In a statement on Wednesday, the club said: “Gignac has been diagnosed with a grade-one myofibrillar tear in his right thigh.”
Tigres did not specify how long the Frenchman will be sidelined for, explaining that the speed of his return will depend on how the injury progresses.
