A clinical performance from Tigres as they always had the upper hand over Pumas despite going behind briefly having the double advantage of the one goal first leg lead and knowing that an overall tie would see the Nuevo Leon side advance.
Tigres now face Club America in a two legged Liga MX Apertura final with the first leg at El Volcan next Thursday and the second leg to be held at the Estadio Azteca on Sunday night.
