Thomas Tüchel and Antonio Conte now know the punishment they face for their own altercations during the Battle of the Bridge, as some English media catagorised the recent Premier League meeting between Chelsea and Tottenham, which ended with both coaches involved in an ugly confrontation. What happened between the two managers on the touchline did not go unnoticed by the disciplinary board and both will have to pay for it out of their own pockets.

As announced by the FA’s independent Regulatory Commission, Chelsea manager Tüchel has been served a 35,000-pound (41,000 euros) fine for behaving inappropriately, criticizing the referee, and breaking the FA’s E3 rule (acting in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute).

On top the fine, Tüchel has also be hit with a suspended one-match ban - he will be able to continue in his duties on matchday until the Regulatory Commission publishes the written reasons for its decision. Meanwhile, Spurs manager Conte has been given a 15,000-pound fine, equivalent to 17,600 euros for breaching the same rule.
