UEFA Champions League qualifying continues today: Who plays on July 28, 2026?
Several clubs are in Champions League qualifying action today, as a total of 52 teams chase one of the final spots in the 2026/27 league phase.
Today’s 2026/27 Champions League qualifying schedule:
Second qualifying round, second legs:
- 10:00 a.m. ET: KuPS vs Sabah (first leg: 0-1)
- 11:00 a.m. ET: Lincoln Red Imps vs Mjällby (first leg: 0-3)
- 1:00 p.m. ET: Dinamo Zagreb vs Thun (first leg: 1-1)
- 1:15 p.m. ET: Celje vs Egnatia Rrogozhinë (first leg: 3-3)
- 1:45 p.m. ET: Hearts vs Sturm Graz (first leg: 0-4)
- 2:00 p.m. ET: Shamrock Rovers vs Ararat-Armenia (first leg: 0-2)

When is the 2026/27 UCL league phase?
The 36-team league phase will run from September 8, 2026, to January 27, 2027. As in the format’s previous two seasons, the top eight finishers will qualify automatically for the last 16, while the teams between ninth and 24th will have to negotiate a play-in round to reach the knockout stage proper.
