USWNT vs Costa Rica: CONCACAF W Championship, times, TV and how to watch online
The United States and Costa Rica will face off in the semi-final of the 2022 Concacaf W Championship in Monterrey at the Estadio Universitario.
The USWNT have done little to convince doubters that they are shoe-in favourites to lift the CONCACAF W Championship title in the final on 18 July as they initially face Costa Rica in the first semi-final.
A clean sweep if wins in the group with 9 goals for and zero conceded sees Vlatko Andonovski’s team in confident mood against the Central American side who lost just to Canada so secure second spot in Group B.
All four semi-finalists (USA, Canada, Costa Rica and Jamaica) have also secured their places at the 2023 FIFA World Cup with the major surprise in the W Championship seeing hosts Mexico fall short after a trio of defeats at the competition saw the Mexican side finish rock bottom of Group A.
Canada face Jamaica in the other semi-final with the North American side strongly fancied to progress and set up a mouth watering US-Canada final.
