The 2023 Women’s World Cup gets underway on 20 July in Australia and New Zealand.

Ten stadiums will host games in nine cities across the two countries. This summer is the first time a Women’s World Cup will take place in two different countries.

Eden Park in Auckland will host New Zealand’s first match of the tournament against Norway, while Stadium Australia in Sydney will host Australia’s opener against the Republic of Ireland.

USWNT look for third World title

The USWNT are looking for a record third consecutive title. No team, men’s or women’s, has won three World Cup titles in a row. A fifth title would put the US behind only Brazil, whose men’s team have six titles.

Where will the US stay during World Cup?

The US squad will spend most of their time in New Zealand, and will play their first and last group-stage games in Auckland and their second in Wellington.
