Both sides are in a very different situation, as the Polish are already out of the tournament after losing their first two games and France could advance to the round of 16 and do it as the best team in Group D.
Didier Deschamps will be able to call upon the services of his star player, Kylian Mbappe, who broke his nose right before the end of France’s first game against Austria. Les Bleus, who came out on top, shared the spoils in a goalless draw against the Netherlands, and a victory over Poland would see them take the section’s top spot.
Poland, who lost against the Oranje in their opening game in a close match (1-2) and were defeated by Austria in the second one (1-3) lost all chances of progressing.
